The New England Cathedral Bird Feeder has plenty of room for visitors with eight substantial openings for the birds to peck away at their seed.

Not only is this attractive, artistic feeder a beautiful and fully functional accent to your garden, it will last you indefinitely. While many feeders on the market today are molded into a single unit, ours is comprised of many different handcrafted components, each assembled in our shop near Buffalo, New York.

The feeder is made of a vinyl formulation that will prevent it from rotting, peeling, splintering and it will never need painting.

How do all of these parts function? Very simply. The acrylic tube runs through the center of the feeder, slotted between a top and a base that allow it to be removed for cleaning. the tube helps keep the food dry in severe weather conditions. There are four holes at the base of this tube through which seeds can filter down into the base as the birds feast. each base has a seed deflector to assure it flows to the openings.
On the top base is a swing arm that prevents the tube from being lifted, to remove the tube, swing the arm free of the tube and pull the tube upward. a slight twist of the tube may free it easier from the base.

The openings in The Cathedral make it more attractive to smaller birds such as chickadees, nuthatches and finches and sparrows to feast.
Each of our feeders is built by hand, one at a time, and each piece must pass through my rigorous quality inspection process.

The acrylic tube is removable for cleaning with warm soapy water when needed. The rest of the feeder can also be cleaned with warm soapy water.
